Watch our video to see our team build top-of-the-line compact track loaders.\nAs a Paint Team Lead at Caterpillar you will:\nHave knowledge of all assembly procedures, standard work schedules, quality requirements and build requirements in assigned work area. \nUse various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties and may include the use of lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs. \nPerform other related work duties as assigned. \nFollow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work. \nKeep work area in a clean and orderly condition \nMust meet deadlines. \nHave the ability to multitask and prioritize work. \nBe a contributing team member. \nTrain new and develop existing employees. \nBe a liaison between team members and section managers. \nBe the first point of contact for questions related to employee job functions. \nPerform administrative functions and may be accountable for daily team PQVC metric boards. \nMay provide input on schedule/build adjustments \nMay communicate with cross-functional leaders. \nRely on independent decision-making and problem-solving to complete job tasks. \nCommunicate potential build schedule, inventory or manpower issues and solutions to section manager. \nPhysical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):\nAbility to sit or stand for prolonged periods \nAbility to perform repetitive operations \nAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. \nBasic Qualifications:\nPrevious Paint experience \nTop Qualifications:\nPrevious leadership experience \nAdditional Information:\nResumes are highly encouraged.
