Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nSupports product regulatory compliance programs through various activities that assist in managing compliance risk and ensuring compliance with applicable product regulatory requirements for intended markets.\nWhat You Will Do:\nUnderstand and stay current on product regulatory requirements and understand application of same to Caterpillar products.\nFollow and utilize established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information in support of product certification and compliance.\nIdentify continuous improvement opportunities for processes and tools used to manage product regulatory compliance risks.\nCollaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure the development, validation and production of product that meets applicable product regulatory requirements.\nWhat You Will Have:\nData Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.\nProduct Development Best Practices: Knowledge of product development methods and ability to research, identify and apply formal disciplines and best practices for improving the quality and costs related to product development.\nRisk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.\nAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.\nCollaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.\nDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.\nTop Candidates Will Have:\nStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skills that will be utilized in leadership, planning, execution, and facilitation of compliance projects, meeting series, and investigations between component design engineering and regional product compliance experts to maintain market access for electronics components & kits in a changing regulatory environment.\nAbility to understand and communicate technical information effectively across teams.\nExperience with electronic components and/or machine/engine electronic systems.\nExperience with electronic component regulations, e.g. EU EMC Directive, EU Radio Equipment Directive, EU CRA, EU Battery, etc.\nBachelor's Degree\nAdditional Information:\nLocation is onsite in Mossville, IL five days per week\nRelocation assistance may be available in accordance with Caterpillar policies.\nSponsorship is not available for this position.\nTravel is 10%\nSummary Pay Range:\n$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
