Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nRole Definition\nThe Test & Validation Senior Associate Engineer implements and improves testing and validation techniques, processes, tooling and machinery to maximize product quality. The role performs statistical process control validation of finished hydraulic products, evaluates master parts and production behavior, and verifies test-machine functionality. The position provides direct technical support to Production and collaborates with Manufacturing and Maintenance to resolve machine issues and protect production continuity.\nResponsibilities\nPerform statistical process control validation of finished hydraulic products to confirm conformity with defined quality requirements.\nEvaluate master-part and production behavior and make technical decisions that support product quality.\nMaintain test-machine performance within statistical control and monitor machine and process capability and reliability.\nControl and verify master parts used as references in the validation process.\nReview test-machine functionality and identify conditions that may affect test reliability or production output.\nProvide timely technical support to Production to help meet established operating targets.\nCollaborate directly with Production, Manufacturing and Maintenance to diagnose and resolve machine-related issues.\nApply basic hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge when troubleshooting test equipment.\nParticipate in improving testing procedures and operations to increase reliability, efficiency, cost effectiveness and product quality.\nEducation Requirements\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.\nEnglish: Conversational English required for technical communication associated with suppliers, customers, machine reviews and occasional travel.\nSkill Descriptors\nAnalytical Thinking\nApply basic hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge when troubleshooting test equipment.\nApproaches a situation by defining the problem and determining its significance.\nMakes a systematic comparison of two or more alternative solutions.\nUses flow charts, Pareto charts or fishbone diagrams to identify meaningful data patterns.\nIdentifies the major factors and stakeholders affecting the situation.\nUses logic and informed judgment to interpret data and reach conclusions.\nEffective Communications\nDelivers constructive feedback focused on observable behavior.\nListens to feedback and applies it to improve communication effectiveness.\nPrepares oral updates and written reports needed for assigned work.\nAdjusts technical language to the audience and avoids unnecessary jargon.\nConsiders verbal and non-verbal cues during cross-functional interactions.\nProduct Testing\nKnowledge of Visual Basic, Python, C++ or similar programming languages.\nDocuments test processes and results and analyzes defect-tracking information.\nSummarizes the features and procedures of the applicable product-testing process.\nTests components for compliance with functional requirements and established conventions.\nCompares relevant usability, safety and integration testing considerations.\nDevelops or improves product-testing procedures and participates in selecting the testing environment and tools.\nTroubleshooting Technical Problems\nPractical exposure to hydraulic manufacturing, automated test systems or statistical process control.\nDocuments common hardware, software and communication problems and likely resolutions.\nTroubleshoots typical technical problems within the assigned area.\nUses supplier diagnostic guides, tools and utilities to identify application or machine problems.\nFollows standard troubleshooting procedures to support effective resolutions.\nParticipates in establishing evaluation standards and criteria for troubleshooting.\nTop Candidates may have\nAbility to analyze machine behavior and support cross-functional problem resolution in a manufacturing environment.\nAvailability for occasional customer visits and machine reviews with suppliers.\nAdditional Information\nWork location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; on-site.\nPrimary schedule: Monday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.\nShift requirement: Availability to rotate shifts.\nTravel: Approximately 10% domestic and international travel.\nRelocation: Not available.\nSponsorship: Not available.\nFinal Details\nPlease frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
