Don't miss this chance to join and support digital innovation for a global leader in heavy machinery!\nWhat will you do? \nThe Tier 2 Data Analyst is responsible for advanced operational support, troubleshooting, and stabilization of data pipelines and data platforms. This role acts as a bridge between Tier1 support and engineering (L3) teams, ensuring fast incident resolution, data quality, and system reliability. The position requires strong analytical skills, understanding of data flows, and the ability to handle complex production issues impacting business-critical applications.\nPerform deep investigation of incidents escalated from Tier1\nAnalyze logs, data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations to identify root causes\nRestore service using workarounds or fixes for known/semi-known issues\nCoordinate P1/P2 incident response, including bridge calls and stakeholder communication\nMonitor data pipelines, jobs, and system health (alerts, dashboards, logs) \nDetect anomalies in data flows and ensure data consistency and integrity\nPerform data validation across systems (ERP, APIs, DBs)\nProactively identify risks and performance degradation\nExecute and continuously improve operational runbooks\nCollaborate with Data Engineering teams on: \nRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)\nPermanent fixes (PCA/ICA)\nWork closely with:\nTier1 (handover, guidance)\nTier3/Engineering (escalations, RCA)\nProduct and Data teams (data quality improvements)\nParticipate in knowledge transfer sessions and onboarding of services\nSupport production releases and maintenance activities\nValidate post-deployment system behavior\nEnsure monitoring and alerts are properly configured\nThis position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US.\nWhat you have:\nExperience with:\nData pipelines / ETL tools (SnapLogic, DataStage, etc. - or equivalents)\nMonitoring tools (AppDynamics, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Splunk)\nSQL and data analytic skills\nAnalysis Python or scripting for troubleshooting and analysis\nAPI integrations and distributed systems\nLog analysis and observability\nSQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or cloud databases.\nIncident management processes (ITSM / ServiceNow)\nAnalytics\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset\nAbility to correlate issues across multiple systems \nExperience in incident prioritization and SLA-driven environments\nWhat we offer: \nAt Cat Digital, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning, and we believe in investing in the development of our employees.
