Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nAs a Trade Compliance Program Manager supporting Resource Industries (RI), you will lead the execution and continuous improvement of trade compliance programs that help ensure ethical, compliant, and efficient business operations across a global organization.\nIn this role, you will partner with business leaders, legal counsel, compliance professionals, Enterprise Risk Advisors, and process partners to identify emerging risks, implement effective controls, and translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. You will help Resource Industries navigate an evolving global trade environment while promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance.\nThe successful candidate will provide strategic guidance on trade compliance matters, lead risk mitigation initiatives, and deliver programs that support global manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations. This role requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex, matrixed environment.\nThe ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can balance business objectives with compliance requirements, communicate complex concepts clearly, and drive measurable business outcomes through effective compliance programs.\nKey Responsibilities\nTrade Compliance Program Leadership\nLead and continuously improve Resource Industries trade compliance programs.\nDevelop and implement trade controls, policies, and processes that support compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.\nServe as a trusted advisor to business leaders on trade compliance risks and requirements.\nApply an enterprise perspective to compliance issues, projects, and business decisions.\nPromote a culture of integrity and accountability consistent with Our Values in Action.\nBusiness Partnership & Risk Management\nAdvise business partners on trade compliance requirements and operational impacts.\nMonitor regulatory developments and assess potential business impacts.\nIdentify compliance risks and lead mitigation activities.\nEvaluate the effectiveness of controls and recommend improvements.\nAnalyze complex issues and develop practical recommendations that balance risk management with business objectives.\nCompliance Communications & Training\nDevelop and deliver trade compliance communications and training.\nPromote awareness of regulatory changes and compliance expectations.\nPartner with Human Resources to support Compliance Required Learning initiatives.\nDrive consistent understanding and application of compliance requirements across Resource Industries.\nStakeholder Engagement\nBuild strong relationships with business leaders, legal counsel, compliance partners, Enterprise Risk Advisors, and other stakeholders.\nCollaborate across functions to integrate compliance requirements into business processes.\nCommunicate complex regulatory concepts to diverse audiences.\nHandle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and sound judgment.\nWhat You Have\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.\n5+ years of progressively responsible experience in compliance, trade compliance, risk management, internal audit, or a related field.\nExperience supporting compliance programs, internal controls, or regulatory initiatives.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and deliver actionable business recommendations.\nCompliance & Risk Expertise\nKnowledge of trade compliance principles, compliance frameworks, and corporate governance practices.\nUnderstanding of Ethics & Compliance programs, internal controls, and risk management processes.\nExperience identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks.\nAbility to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them in a business environment.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\nLeadership & Collaboration\nProven ability to influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.\nStrong relationship-building and communication skills.\nDemonstrated integrity, accountability, and professional judgment.\nAbility to lead initiatives and drive results through collaboration.\nComfortable operating independently and managing competing priorities.\nWhat Will Set You Apart\nExperience supporting an Enterprise Ethics & Compliance Program.\nExperience in trade compliance, export controls, or international regulatory compliance.\nKnowledge of internal audit methodologies and compliance monitoring practices.\nExperience developing compliance training, communications, or awareness programs.\nExperience partnering with legal teams, Enterprise Risk Advisors, and business leaders.\nExperience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or global operations environments.\nDemonstrated success influencing change across a large, complex organization.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nThe successful candidate will be recognized as a trusted Resource Industries advisor who helps the business proactively manage compliance risks while enabling operational success.
