This team also builds reference applications/single page apps demonstrating the power of Platform services and giving a jump start to application developers. A great opportunity to learn about IoT development!\nWhat You Will Do:\nDesign, developing, and code front-end / user interface software solutions\nWorks directly on complex application/technical problem and deliver resolutions\nDrives application development focused around delivering business valuable features\nMaintains high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits \nCommunicate with end users and customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness\nWhat You Will Have:\nSoftware Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements. Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software at scale. \nSoftware Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.\nSoftware Product Testing: Knowledge of software product testing; ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure software product quality and adherence to stated requirements. Hands on experience with testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber and their integration into CI/CD pipelines.\nDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.\nEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.\nConsideration For Top Candidate:\nTypically candidate will have 2+ years software development experience\nExperience in designing and developing customer facing applications using front-end frameworks, libraries (React / Angular / Polymer / Vue) and JavaScript, CSS3, design patterns.\nUnderstanding of basic UI/UX concepts and creation of wireframes.\nExperience designing well-defined Restful APIs\nExperience or working knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.\nKnowledge of a high-level language such as Java or similar\nPassion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment\nAdditional Details:\nThis position will be based out of our Chicago, IL office\nRelocation assistance is NOT available for this position\nVisa sponsorship is NOT available with this position.\nSummary Pay Range:\n$89,210.00 - $144,960.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
