{"id":2600216,"url":"https://alion.io/job/cathay-dining-supervisor-terminal-services","title":"Supervisor (Terminal Services)","company":{"id":4433822,"name":"Cathay Dining","domain":"cathaydining.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/cathay-dining","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"SuccessFactors","truth_index":null},"role":"Industrial Engineering","role_family":"Industrial Engineering","seniority":"junior","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Hong Kong"],"countries":["HK"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":31000,"max_usd":75000,"period":"year","method":"global_role_cell_scaled_by_country","sample_n":5008},"experience_years_min":2,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-15T07:55:10Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-15","last_verified_at":"2026-10-16T22:22:48Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":1,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":1},"description":"Cathay Cargo Terminal operates one of the world's most advanced air cargo terminals, offering world-class cargo handling services for Cathay Cargo and other international airline customers operating at Hong Kong International Airport.\nAs the Supervisor (Terminal Services), you will monitor staff and operations contractors to ensure the operations procedure and performance standard are fully compliance with customers and company’s requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTo complete the daily assignments given by the Manager On Duty.\nTo monitor the cargo build-up, breakdown, acceptance and release progress through the ‘Warehouse Operating System’ (WOS).\nTo perform data entry and verification of import/export/transshipment cargo information through 'Warehouse Operating System' (WOS).\nTo coordinate with airlines, contractors, Customs & Excise Department, agent customers if necessary.\nTo distribute instruction / Job Order to Contractor’s Team Leader.\nTo perform onsite inspection during the daily operations.\nTo cooperate with subcontractor to meet the services level agreements.\nTo lead the teams to execute the agreed operations procedures per required service standards and in accordance with the regulatory requirements.\nTo liaise with contractor’s Team Leader closely to ensure the contractor to working in an effective and efficient way.\nTo monitor the performance of all services suppliers to ensure the service standards are met and initiate suggestions on services improvement.\nTo assist new joiners to be familiar with the working procedures and environment To conduct post flight check if required.\nTo take follow up actions when the operations irregularities and preclude recurrence.\nTo issue Fault Report for respective areas in a timely manner.\nOther ad-hoc duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nF.5 with passes in English, Chinese Language and Mathematics or Holder of HKDSE or equivalent.\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in airlines, air cargo terminals, ground handling agents, logistics companies, warehouses, or freight forwarding companies, of which minimum 2 years in a supervisory level.\nHands-on experience in the air-cargo terminal operations would be an advantage.\nSound knowledge on air cargo and mail operations handling procedures.\nDetails oriented, a self-motivated team player and confident leader.\nGood command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.\nCandidates with less experiences would be considered as Senior Cargo Services Officer.\nWorking Hours:\nAverage 5 days’ work week, 9 hours work per day including meal break.\nShift duties are required starting with 07:00 - 16:00/ 15:00 - 24:00/ 23:00 - 08:00 (Subject to operation needs).\nCathay Cargo Terminal is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
