The Product Owner will work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers in the development of AI applications supporting DLA (Defense Logistics Agency). A motivated and qualified candidate will work closely with the customer to identify their needs and opportunities to expand and work in a team environment.\nResponsibilities\nThe responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nDefine and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with agency mission objectives and contract requirements\nOwn and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria that translate stakeholder needs into actionable development tasks \nServe as the primary point of contact between government program stakeholders, contracting officer representatives (CORs), and internal delivery teams \nFacilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review, retrospectives) and partner with Scrum Masters to remove delivery blockers \nEvaluate emerging technologies, including AI/ML tools, for applicability to government modernization efforts and present recommendations to leadership and clients\nDefine success metrics and KPIs for product initiatives and report progress to program leadership and government sponsors\nEnsure delivered capabilities comply with applicable federal IT standards, security requirements, and accessibility guidelines (e.g., Section 508, NIST, FedRAMP as applicable)\nRequirements\nAn active Secret or above clearance is required\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role, ideally within federal or other highly regulated environments\nBachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience\nDemonstrated experience working directly with or supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), supply chain and logistics, including familiarity with DLA IT systems, program stakeholders, business processes, and agency-specific procurement or compliance requirements\nDemonstrated experience managing a product backlog and working within Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery frameworks\nStrong understanding of the federal procurement lifecycle, including RFIs, RFPs, and proposal development\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to government clients and senior leadership\nBenefits\nCATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees.
