The Maker is responsible for initiating, processing, and preparing customer and operational transactions in line with the bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess the following responsibilities:\nTransaction Processing:\nInitiate and process financial and non-financial transactions accurately and within approved timelines.\nProcess account maintenance requests, fund transfers, and other operational transactions.\nPrepare transactions for review and approval under the Maker-Checker framework.\nCompliance & Risk Management:\nVerify transaction details and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.\nEnsure adherence to KYC, AML, regulatory, and internal control requirements.\nEscalate discrepancies, exceptions, and suspicious transactions promptly.\nDocumentation & Record Keeping:\nMaintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation.\nEnsure proper filing and availability of records for audit and compliance purposes.\nReconciliation & Issue Resolution:\nSupport periodic reconciliations and resolve outstanding operational issues.\nLiaise with relevant stakeholders to address transaction-related concerns.\nService Delivery & Continuous Improvement:\n· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.\n· Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.\n· Stay updated on relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nRequirements\nMinimum of HND/Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline.\nPrevious banking operations experience is an added advantage.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood knowledge of banking operations and compliance requirements.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.\nBenefits\nFixed
