The team partners with the business to define and apply a\nclear data quality framework, deliver transparent reporting and dashboards, and\ncarry out data quality assessments and audits across the data estate.\nBy educating, enabling, and constructively challenging data\nowners, the team helps ensure data is accurate, compliant, and fit for\npurpose-supporting insight led decision making, regulatory confidence, and\ndelivery of PXC’s business strategy. The team plays a critical role in PXC’s\nambition to operate as a data driven organisation and remain competitive as a\nvalue player in the market.\n Key\nResponsibilities in the role:\nAccountability, Ownership, Authority\n\n1. Data Quality & Assurance - Accountable for the\nquality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across assigned\ndomains.\nIdentify\ndata quality issues, risks, and trends, and clearly articulate business impact.\nDeliver\ndata quality reporting, dashboards, audits, and impact assessments.\nEnsure\ndata meets agreed standards, regulatory requirements, and business needs.\n2. Standards, Frameworks & Controls - Owns the\noperational application of the data quality framework.\nDefine,\ndocument, and maintain data quality rules, KPIs, thresholds, and controls in\ncollaboration with data owners.\nSupport\nthe consistent adoption of data quality standards across BAU and change\ninitiatives.\nAct as a\nsubject matter expert for data quality methods, tooling, and best practice.\n3. Delivery & Continuous Improvement - Owns end to end\ndelivery of assigned data quality initiatives.\nLead and\ndeliver data quality workstreams within agreed scope and timelines.\nPartner\nwith onshore and offshore teams to investigate issues and implement solutions.\nDrive\ncontinuous improvement through proactive monitoring and insight-led\nprioritisation.\n4. Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement - Accountable for\nbuilding data quality capability across the business.\nEducate\nand support stakeholders in understanding data quality expectations and\nresponsibilities.\nPromote\nawareness of the value of high-quality data and the risks of poor data quality.\nCommunicate\nclearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.\n5. Authority & Decision Rights\nThe Data Quality Analyst has authority to:\nChallenge\ndata quality practices that do not meet agreed standards or pose business risk.\nRecommend\nprioritisation of data quality issues and remediation actions.\nPropose\ndata quality rules, KPIs, and monitoring approaches for approval.\nEscalate\nmaterial data quality risks and non-compliance through agreed governance\nroutes.\nRequirements\nSuccess Criteria\nMust have:\nData\nQuality subject matter expertise and credibility.\nStrong\nanalytical, data profiling, and SQL skills.\nData\nvisualisation, interpretation, and storytelling capability.\nCritical\nthinking and commercial awareness.\nStrong\nwritten communication skills.\nPlanning,\nprioritisation, and delivery management skills.\nProblem\nsolving, investigation, and systems thinking.\nOutcome\nfocus and continuous improvement mindset.\nStakeholder\nmanagement capability -
