IAS Laboratories is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to support our environmental monitoring services across a range of dynamic field locations.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Field Technician, you will play a key role in conducting routine and ad hoc environmental monitoring in line with client specifications and regulatory protocols. You’ll be responsible for a wide variety of on-site sampling, environmental assessments and compilation of reports, helping us deliver high-quality data to our clients and regulatory bodies.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct environmental sampling of groundwater, surface water, leachate, and drinking water.\nPerform Q-value assessments (Biological) on surface waters, effluent, sludge, grass, and soil.\nLiaise professionally with clients and represent IAS Laboratories positively in the field.\nMaintain and calibrate field equipment, vehicles, and PPE to the highest standards.\nCompile detailed, high-quality reports for submission to governing agencies such as the EPA.\nAdhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and incident reporting.\nManage personal schedules efficiently and suggest improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.\nQualifications & Skills\nLevel 8 degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Earth Science, Ecology, or Natural Resource Management.
