The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of applied experience as a Windows Systems Engineer that includes the deployment, monitoring and support of secure Windows Servers running business-critical application platforms.\nResponsibilities:\nDeploy and support Enterprise Windows Server 2019-2025 and Microsoft 365 solutions (Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, Teams, Conditional Access) to meet organizational needs and following best practices\nManage and optimise the Windows server estate, focusing on on-prem infrastructure based on Nutanix AHV and also cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure / AWS)\nPerform system maintenance, such as applying patches and updates to ensure availability, optimal performance and security of IT infrastructure\nMonitor system performance and proactively identify/resolve issues\nMaintain detailed documentation of system setup, configuration, procedures and change\nImplement and manage security platforms including endpoint protection and patch management to protect data and shared IT infrastructure\nManage backup solutions to ensure data recovery and resiliency\nWork as part of the Infrastructure and Systems Engineering team to plan and execute larger IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments\nTake ownership of ongoing Windows-related projects, driving them forward and ensuring timely completion\nKeep up to date with the latest technologies, security vulnerabilities and industry best practices\nEnsure that systems and user activities comply with organizational policies and any relevant legal or regulatory frameworks\nTroubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages\nRequirements\nPrevious experience working in Financial Services (preferred)\nProven experience as a Windows System Administrator or currently in a similar role\nSolid understanding of Active Directory Services (DNS/DHCP/FSMO/ADFS/SSO/ADCS/Group Policy)\nSolid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN\nScripting skills desirable (e.g. PowerShell, Batch scripting) for automating routine tasks and deployments\nGood knowledge of AWS Infrastructure and Linux administration (desirable)\nStrong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills\nAbility to troubleshoot systems issues and applications in a logical and level-headed manner\nBe able to communicate ideas in both technical and
