In this role, you will own the architecture of modern, high-performance, real-time web applications built on AWS, from the first customer discovery conversation through production launch. You will design how the browser, the edge, and the API layer fit together, using technologies such as React, Next.js, GraphQL, AWS AppSync, Amazon CloudFront, and AWS WAF, and codify it all in Terraform. You'll partner with Design, Backend, DevOps, and Project Management to turn ambiguous business needs into scalable, secure, and delightful user experiences, and you'll raise the bar for the engineers around you. Lead and coordinate technical work across engineers, designers, and project managers.\nCommunication\nCommunicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, actively listen to clients and team members, and document decisions so that teams can execute with confidence.\nTechnical Qualifications\n5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on frontend engineering and 1+ years in a technical lead, architect, or equivalent role.\nExpert-level experience building production applications with React.js and TypeScript, including state management, rendering performance, component architecture, and design systems.\nDeep experience with Next.js, including the App Router, server components, SSR, SSG, ISR, route handlers, middleware, and caching strategies.
