The incumbent is responsible for engaging with end users and stakeholders to capture, document, and manage software requirements in alignment with organizational objectives. This role involves facilitating meetings, recording detailed notes, tracking actionable items, and ensuring all requirements are accurately entered and maintained within electronic tracking systems.\nThe Business Analyst will have a robust background in information technology, software development, and preferably consulting. This role is expected to manage scope and budget considerations while upholding the highest standards of quality and security. Leveraging subject matter expertise, the incumbent will contribute to strategic planning, execution, and oversight of complex IT projects, ensuring optimal outcomes for the organization.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nIdentifies and analyzes business needs, conducts business & technical requirements gathering, defines scope and objectives through a variety of techniques such as work sessions and interviews.\nAnalyzes and documents complex business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to appropriate parties (mainly the development team and the business owners). \nCoordinates, facilitates, and leads meetings with clients to gather and document requirements, or explore potential solutions. \nParticipates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project. \nCreates complex test case scenarios to be used in testing; conducts/monitors/oversee/documents the testing of business applications to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the system design. \nProvides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements. \nFacilitate regular progress meetings, and updates to varying departments. \nGenerate and deliver transition status updates to program management and client. \nUse quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis. \nResearch industry trends for application of process improvement techniques and best practices.\nPartners with business process owners and management on strategic initiatives.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nQualifications - Here’s What You Need\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in IT principles and practices. \nAt least 2 years of proven experience in IT business analysis, including Networking-related projects. \nDemonstrated expertise in documenting requirements, working under Agile processes and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA). \nSecret Security Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI access as required.\nMust be able to pass a background check.
