This critical position integrates Azure architecture expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps automation, and cloud security strategies. You will partner with development, operations, and security teams to modernize infrastructure, improve system performance, enhance security posture, and drive ongoing migration efforts.\nThis position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities:\nAzure Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and other Azure services, ensuring high availability and scalability.\nInfrastructure Modernization: Migrate existing unmanaged Azure resources into source control and refactor Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configurations, with an emphasis on PowerShell.\nAutomation & Workflows: Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines and operational workflows using IaC tools and scripting languages.\nSecurity Remediation: Analyze Azure vulnerabilities and compliance scan outputs to remediate critical and high-priority findings, ensuring security and compliance alignment.\nCloud Environment Optimizations: Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune Azure environments to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.\nCollaboration on Best Practices: Collaborate across development, operations, and security teams, sharing Azure best practices and providing guidance on infrastructure optimization.\nCI/CD Implementation: Configure and troubleshoot Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline and enhance release management processes.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nQualifications - Here’s What You Need:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nExperience: A minimum of 5 years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-related roles.\nTechnical Expertise:Advanced knowledge of Azure services (compute, storage, networking, governance).\nStrong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible).\nExperience in automating cloud environments and operational workflows.\nDemonstrated skill in cloud security remediation, compliance risk management, and governance.\nHands-on expertise using Git-based repositories for version-controlled infrastructure management.\n\nActive Top Secret Security Clearance. \nMust be able to pass a background check.
