You will collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to implement clean, maintainable components and deliver intuitive, accessible, and secure user experiences.\nThis position aligns with Cayuse’s core values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity by fostering technical solutions that meet customer needs, promoting teamwork, and prioritizing quality in deliverables.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.\nDevelop modular, maintainable UI components aligned with modern front-end engineering best practices and design system standards.\nIntegrate front-end applications with .NET backend services using REST APIs and common data formats such as JSON and XML.\nImplement client-side state management and optimize rendering for scalable, enterprise-grade applications.\nCollaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality and consistent user experiences.\nParticipate in code reviews, contributing to and enforcing standards for readability, quality, security, and maintainability.\nUse Git and GitLab for source control, branching strategies, code review, and merge request workflows.\nEnsure that front-end applications meet accessibility, security, and performance requirements in line with federal and organizational standards.\nTroubleshoot and resolve UI issues across environments, browsers, and devices, including cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior.\nWork within AWS cloud-hosted environments, collaborating with DevOps and backend teams to support deployments as part of the overall delivery pipeline.\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts, recommending enhancements to tooling, development practices, and user experience.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\n8+ years of experience developing modern frontend applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.\nAdvanced experience building UI components with HTML, CSS, Sass, and responsive design frameworks\nStrong experience integrating with REST APIs and working with JSON and XML data formats\nProficiency with Git and GitLab for source control, collaboration, and code review workflows\nAbility to design, refactor, and maintain scalable frontend architectures in cloud environments (AWS preferred)\nDeep understanding of frontend performance optimization, browser behavior, debugging techniques, and application profiling\nDemonstrated ability to mentor developers and lead best-practice discussions across the engineering team\nExperience building cloud-native solutions in AWS\nExperience with YAML and CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI preferred)\nExperience with package scan vulnerability remediation\nExperience with integration with .NET APIs or full stack environments\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams\nBonus points if you have:\nExperience with automated UI testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)\nFamiliarity with accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG)\nFamiliarity with JFrog Artifactory\nFamiliarity with Jira for DevOpsActive Top Secret Security Clearance is required.\nMust be able to pass a background check.
