Just as important to us is your ability to demonstrate a talent for dealing with people - your colleagues and our customers - and delivering service that really goes the extra mile.\nJob Purpose:\nProvide support to the Senior Manager, Financial Accounting and Head of Financial Control in managing financial accounting activities, period-end books closing, fixed assets accounting, GL reconciliation and substantiation, new product accounting, finance system maintenance and transformation, process controls, and bank-wide insurance renewal, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective controls and compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.\nKey Accountabilities:\nSupport the Accounts Payable Manager in leading the Bank’s Accounts Payable function, including training and managing team members.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for all Accounts Payable activities.\nEnsure invoices are processed and settled accurately and on time, while maintaining high-quality control standards.\nContinuously review control design and effectiveness, and support system and process enhancements. Strengthen automation, transformation, and documentation controls.\nManage and continuously improve all Accounts Payable KPIs to meet agreed SLAs.\nCollaborate with the wider Finance team and key stakeholders across the Bank.\nSupport vendor onboarding and approval, including related tax processes.\nIdentify control gaps and recommend remediation measures to strengthen processes and improve process maturity.\nConduct root-cause analysis of exceptions, errors, and ageing items.\nContribute to process improvements, system upgrades, and the smooth implementation of the ERP system.
