Procurement Support Officer (UAE National)

Job Purpose

• Review and assess supplier onboarding requests, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, risk criteria, and strategic sourcing objectives.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, while upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional integrity.
• Provide support in procurement and contract negotiations for CBD, ensuring optimal terms and risk mitigation while aligning with corporate objectives.
• Coordinate and streamline administrative procurement activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to internal controls and documentation standards.
• Source competitive quotations for products and services in line with business requirements, and lead negotiations to secure best value for money while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Act as a key point of contact for procurement-related queries, ensuring timely resolution of issues and proactive communication with all stakeholders.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, while upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional integrity.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• Background in Banking and Procurement professional designation preferred
