We are what you’re looking for.\nThe Role\nIf you're looking to develop a career in shipping, logistics or international trade, this is an opportunity to join a team at the centre of CBH's export operations. Supporting the Chartering team, you'll assist with freight activities, export shipment planning and chartering administration across a global portfolio.\nWorking in a fast-paced environment, you'll build relationships across the business, shipping industry and develop specialist knowledge of international grain shipping while contributing to meaningful outcomes for WA growers.\nThis opportunity is offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis until March 2028.\nResponsibilities include:\nSupport the coordination of grain export shipments to ensure customers receive grain on time and as planned\nAssist with freight activities, including freight indications, vessel fixtures and chartering support\nPrepare, maintain and administer charter party documentation with a high degree of accuracy\nAssist in the commercial and operational aspects of the container export program\nCollaborate with traders, marketers and operational teams to support shipment planning and export capacity requirements\nContribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance shipping and chartering performance across the business\nAbout You:\nExperience coordinating activities within shipping, logistics, supply chain, operations or a related environment\nAdvanced Excel skills with experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate outcomes\nExcellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills\nQualifications in shipping, supply chain, business or a related discipline will be highly regarded\nWhy work with CBH?\nWork with meaning and being part of something bigger\nPlay a critical role in moving WA’s grain from paddocks to ports, and on to countries all around the world.
