We are what you’re looking for.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Commercial team within the Project Delivery Group.\nBased in Perth CBD, and known as Lead - Contracts at CBH, this role will support contract management across CBH’s Sustaining Capital, and Expansion projects, supporting the teams from tender through to contract close out.\nWorking closely with project managers, contractors and internal teams, you will provide practical commercial advice, promote consistent contract administration and help ensure decisions are supported by accurate information, appropriate documentation and sound commercial judgement.\nThis role will suit an experienced contracts professional who is comfortable working in a fast-moving project environment, managing competing priorities and working through complex commercial matters to achieve practical outcomes.\nResponsibilities include:\nLead contract management activities across CBH Sustaining Capital, and Expansion projects, and support Project Managers from tender through to contract close out.\nPrepare and review tender documents, contract packages, approvals and reporting.\nOversee and review the assessment and administration of progress claims, variations, contractual notices, contract records and supporting documentation with accuracy and care.\nProvide guidance and support to junior members of the contracts team and wider project teams, promoting consistent and effective contract management practices across the portfolio.\nAnalyse complex contractual and commercial matters by verifying information, identifying risks and providing clear and practical commercial guidance in line with CBH policies and procedures.\nAbout You:\nHave proven contract management experience, ideally from a contractor-side project perspective across construction, infrastructure or resource industries.\nA strong understanding of tendering, contract formation and administration, including progress claims, variations, schedules, reporting, close out and the detail required to support contract decisions.\nThe ability to assess commercial issues using accurate data, supporting documentation and sound judgement to make practical recommendations.\nStrong organisational skills, the ability to manage shifting priorities and a considered, detail focused approach, supported by a willingness to challenge information, verify assumptions and identify potential risks.\nClear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build trusted working relationships and influence practical commercial outcomes.\nWhy work with CBH?\nWork with meaning and being part of something bigger\nPlay a critical role in moving WA’s grain from paddocks to ports, and on to countries all around the world.
