accountability for decisions made by subordinate staff.\n\nMay spend a portion of time performing individual tasks related to the unit; however, supervisory activities constitute a primary part of the job.\n\nProvide major input into hiring decisions.\n\nProvide major input into rewarding and disciplinary actions.\n\nExecute annual goals and priorities.\n\nEnsure subordinates perform work as prescribed by policies and procedures in order to achieve productivity, service, and quality standards.\n\nAdminister and execute policies and procedures affecting staff.\n\nAnalyze and resolve problems, interpret policies, and demonstrate solid subject matter knowledge.\n\nMotivate, guide, and train staff.\n\nListen and resolve grievances.\n\nAdditional responsibilities as assigned.\n\n*Complexity is based on the degree of uncertainty, financial risk, technical requirements, urgency, and volume or size.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree.\n\nPension Administrator, Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), or pursuing Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and/or Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credentials.\n\n Minimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required\n\nMore than 5 years customer service experience in the insurance industry required\n\nMust maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise\n\nDemonstrate industry experience and technical knowledge in area of expertise\n\nProficient use of applicable technology\n\nDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing
