This role leads branch installation projects from start to finish, including structured cabling, workstation deployment, networking equipment installation, telephony implementation, AV installation, and coordination of third-party contractors.\nSuccess in this role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work independently, exceptional customer service skills, and a willingness to travel extensively, including frequent overnight stays. Approximately 75% of work assignments involve overnight travel, including air travel, hotel stays, and extended time away from home while supporting branch installation projects. Travel may include consecutive overnight stays and assignments outside the immediate geographic area. A company-provided vehicle is supplied for business travel where applicable.\nEssential Functions and Primary Duties\nTravel extensively throughout the assigned territory to perform branch installations, relocations, renovations, and technology refresh projects.\nComplete full technology deployments including computers, monitors, printers, networking equipment, telephony systems, and audio/visual equipment\nInstall, terminate, test, and maintain structured cabling systems in commercial environments\nLead on-site installation activities and coordinate Field Service Technicians, vendors, and contractors\nTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, telephony, and AV-related issues during installation projects\nEnsure installations are completed according to company standards, project requirements, and quality expectations\nMaintain accurate project documentation, work logs, ticket updates, and asset tracking records\nPackage, ship, receive, and reconcile technology assets according to Asset Management procedures\nTrain and support end users following technology deployments\nMaintain inventory of tools, installation materials, company vehicle stock, and project equipment\nCoordinate installation schedules and communicate project updates with customers, project managers, and internal teams\nOperate and maintain a company vehicle in compliance with company policies and safety requirements\nDeliver exceptional customer service\nPerform related installation and project responsibilities as assigned\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to travel extensively, including approximately 75% overnight travel\nComfortable with frequent air travel, hotel stays, and extended work assignments away from home\nExperience leading branch, office, or retail technology deployments\nStrong knowledge of structured cabling, cable management, and telecommunications infrastructure\nExperience installing and supporting computing, networking, telephony, print, and AV systems\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in remote environments\nStrong organizational, documentation, and customer service skills\nAbility to support installation projects outside assigned territory when business needs require\nMaintain residence within assigned territory\nMaintain reliable high-speed internet access\nCarry a company-issued mobile device and respond to business communications as required\nThree or more years of field installation, field services, infrastructure deployment, or IT support experience, or one year as a Field Service Technician with CBIZ Network Solutions\n Minimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or four (4) years of related experience in lieu of a degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling four (4) years.\n\nPossess and maintain a valid driver's license.
