As champions of internal mobility and access to opportunity, we encourage our people to “go for it” and equip our managers with the training to coach their teams to the next level.We strive to provide employees with a safe space to network, shareideas,and create opportunities.\nTo support strong partnership and team connection, this role follows a four day in officeworkmodel.\nPosition Summary\nTheCboeRegulatory Division (the “Division”) is activelyseekinga highly motivated individual to join our Equity Surveillance Team.The Surveillance Analystperforms analysis of real-time and pattern-based surveillances to detectpossible violationsofCboeBZX, BYX, EDGX, and EDGA (collectively, the “Exchanges”) Rules and other applicable rules and regulations governing Exchange Members.Thisrole offers direct exposure to the intersection of market structure, data analytics, and emerging technology, working alongside regulatorytechnology and investigations teams that shape how the Exchanges detect and respond toactivity inconsistentwith Exchange rules and regulatory requirements.\nYour responsibilities will be:\nConduct surveillance by analyzing and compiling data of securities traded on theCboeExchanges to detectpossible violationsofCboeand SEC rules and policies.\n\nDocument surveillance findings andreferpotential rule violations to the Investigations team, including clear analysis and supporting evidence.\n\nAssistin the maintenance of internal policies and procedures related to theCboeSurveillance Program.\n\nStay apprised of industrytrends, regulatory enforcement actions, and market events to help inform Regulatory Program priorities andidentifyemerging areas of surveillance risk.\n\nLeverage AI and other emerging technologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of existing surveillances, andassistin designing, testing, and implementing new AI-driven surveillance concepts and techniques.\n\nTest and calibrate surveillance parameters and alert thresholds to improve detection accuracy andimprovealert yield.\n\nCollaborate with variousCboeteams, particularly the regulatory technology and investigation teams, to further enhance the Regulatory Program.\n\nBuild andmaintainan understanding of theCboeExchanges’ regulatory environment, relevant rules and regulations, technologies and systems, processes and operational methodologies, investigative and examination techniques.\n\nContribute toteam projects,discussions,and problem solving.\n\nActivelyparticipatein training/continuing education opportunities and meetings.\n\nPerform other related duties asrequiredor requested.\n\nThe ideal candidate has:\nMinimum Years of Work Experience: 2+ years\n\nMinimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degreerequired; economics, business, accounting, computer science, or finance (preferred).\n\nAbility to work effectively and independently with all levels of management and staff.\n\nMust have written, analytical, and research skills and the ability to apply both quantitative and qualitative analysis.\n\nStrong attention to detail, organization, and effective communication skills, verbal and written.\n\nHighly proficient in MS Office suite products.\n\nYou’llreally stand out with:\nExposuretoTrade Surveillance software.\n\nExperience with relational databases (SQL, VBA, Access).\n\nKnowledgeofthe securitiesmarketsand trading industry.\n\nCertified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).\n\nExperience using AI and other emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, machine learning, or AI-assisted analytics tools).\n\nBenefits and Perks\nWe value the total wellbeing of our people - including health, financial,personaland social wellness.
