If you are energized by solving complex operational challenges, building client relationships that last, and developing the people around you, this role is built for you.\nEssential Functions\nBranch Leadership & Team Development\nLead, coach, and develop Operations Managers, sales professionals, and supervisors with a people-first approach that drives both performance and retention\nConduct structured coaching and mentoring sessions that identify strengths, close gaps, and build a motivating, accountable work environment\nOwn all personnel management functions in partnership with Human Resources, including performance management, corrective action, and succession planning\nFacilitate all-hands meetings, leadership forums, and cross-functional communication to keep the team aligned and informed\nModel CBX's SERVE values: Serve, Educate and Elevate, Respect, Vision, Expertise; in every interaction\nClient & Partner Relationships\nBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, GC partners, and industry professionals who interact with the branch\nCultivate supplier partnerships that strengthen the branch's operational capabilities and competitive positioning\nChampion exceptional customer relations across all touchpoints, internal and external, and hold the team to that same standard\nSupport sales on bid proposals and serve as final signatory on all GC contracts\nFinancial Performance & Operations\nManage all facets of branch P&L, including revenue targets, labor costs, department expenses, and margins\nAccountable for branch EBITDA, working capital performance, accounts receivable collections, backlog quality, and overall financial health of the business\nLead annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for the branch\nDrive operational execution that protects gross margin, improves productivity, and delivers projects on time and on budget\nReview and act on recurring reports: sales performance, production output, labor costs, inventory levels, and delivery status\nEstablish cost controls and drive a culture of operational efficiency without sacrificing quality or customer commitments\nEnsure on-time project delivery and completion; oversee bid review and final approval on contracts\nMonitor inventory levels to ensure availability aligns with project and service demands\nSales Strategy & Growth\nDrive branch sales activity and ensure all Sales team members meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets\nPartner with Marketing on campaign development and performance review; identify opportunities to grow market presence\nManage and track Proof-of-Concept projects from inception through results analysis\nDelegate authority and responsibility with clear expectations, accountability structures, and consistent follow-up\nMinimum Qualifications\nProven track record of P&L ownership and financial performance management in a branch or multi-site environment\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); comfort with branch management and CRM platforms\nStrong systems and process orientation — builds structure that makes the team more effective, not bureaucratic\nKnowledge of change management principles and the ability to bring a team through transitions without losing momentum or morale \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities \nExceptional analytical thinking, uses data to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and make confident, well-reasoned decisions\nOutstanding interpersonal communication, equally effective presenting a strategy to leadership, coaching a struggling employee, or building rapport with a client\nHigh relationship intelligence, reads people well, adapts communication style, and builds lasting trust across all levels\nStrong attention to detail paired with the strategic perspective to know when precision matters most\nPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
