Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors and other co-workers to determine progress of work and completion dates; and reporting on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems. \n\nEssential Functions\nExamine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes, in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications \nReview documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel & and material requirements, and material priorities \nConfer with employees, vendors, and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities, and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays \nRequisition & maintain inventories of material and supplies necessary to meet production demands \nRevise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, sales, production, and engineering \nSchedule customers daily for installs, repairs, and field estimates.\nReview daily work orders and or tickets that are turned in by the technicians. \nEnsure deliveries arrive at the correct time and are unloaded and inspected for damages and or missing items \nOther administrative duties as assigned by manager\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nProficient in Microsoft Products, including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook \nHigh School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferred\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of door, frame and hardware applications preferred \nMust have excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills \nGreat attention to detail required \nEffective time management and organizational skills \nSelf-motivated and proactive with ability to multi-task\nPhysical Demands \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is required to stand, kneel, crouch, stoop, use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms for more than two-thirds of the working day. This position regularly operates in construction sites, warehouses, and shop environments.
