Beyond filling individual requisitions, this role builds an ongoing, consultative relationship with hiring managers, anticipating pipeline needs, coaching on hiring practices, and bringing a strategic voice to workforce planning. This will be achieved through employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.\nEssential Functions\nDevelop effective recruiting plans and strategies by studying organization plans and objectives\nEfficiently and effectively fill open positions; meeting with and proactively working with managers to discuss needs\nServe as a talent partner to assigned hiring managers, meeting on a regular, recurring cadence to build a forward-looking view of upcoming hiring needs and pipeline demand across the region\nNetwork through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees\nMaintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates\nResponsible for creating and updating job descriptions, attract applicants by placing job advertisements, screen resumes and candidates, conduct interviews and assist managers with the complete hiring process\nConduct Culture Index job analysis (C-Job) for open and evolving roles, and interpret survey results with hiring managers to support hiring decisions, in partnership with the Director, Talent Strategy & Analytics\nWork with Temporary/Staffing agencies as well as contract recruiters\nConduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation\nCoach hiring managers on structured interviewing best practices to improve interview quality, consistency, and decision speed\nBuild applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites\nDevelop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need\nAttend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition; coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives\nManage Applicant Tracking system to ensure compliance\nAssist with the compilation and maintenance of the Affirmative Action Program\nAssists with the coordination between recruiting, onboarding and training\nContribute to continuous improvement of Hiring Hub content, keeping manager-facing resources current, accurate, and useful\nAssists with other projects within HR Department as needed\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree Preferred – Business, Communication, Sales, Marketing or other relevant field\nMinimum 3-5 Years of Experience in Recruiting\nExperience in relevant social media platforms (ex: LinkedIn) required\nExcellent verbal communication skills\nAttention to detail of vital importance\nProven candidate sourcing skills\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nExcellent computer skills; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs\nExperience with Jobvite ATS preferred\nEffective oral and written communication skills\nGeneral knowledge of various employment laws and practices\nSelf-directed and motivated; requiring minimal supervision\nPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
