With over 200 years of on-trade experience behind us, and unique insight into the future of our industry, our experience matters.\nAbout the Role\nAs an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will report to the Accounts Payable Team Leader and be working closely within a team that manages the processing of approximately 16,000 invoices per month. You will be working with a passionate and supportive team.\nThe business that has recently completed a significant investment in a system upgrade using JD Edwards and SoftCo. Any experience with either system or similar would be advantageous.\nThis role perfect for someone looking to grow and develop their career with a business that will support and guide them in their career development.\nKey Accountabilities\nMatching invoices to the correct purchase order on our SoftCo system\nQuery resolution\nPriority management- we work with a large volume of suppliers and reconciliations in a fast-paced environment\nAnswering queries from suppliers and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made\nRequesting statements from suppliers where they are not provided\nReconciliation of statements against the supplier ledger\nDebit balance resolution\nFollow best practice and procedure (and ensure suppliers are also following) whilst maintaining a high speed of working\nAbout you\nAccounts Payable experience preferably in a muti-site organisation\nStatement reconciliations\nIntermediate to advanced Excel knowledge\nAny experience or knowledge of JDE system but not essential\nA numerical approach, able to calculate and alter monetary values quickly\nGreat attention to detail\nA Positive and Can-Do Attitude\nDemonstrable good communication skills\nMust have the ability to work in a team.\nMust possess time management skills and be able to meet deadlines set\nAbout Us\nOperating through the Matthew Clark, Bibendum, Tennent’s and Bulmers Ireland brands, the Group has a market leading range, scale and reach including an intimate understanding of the markets it serves.\nTogether we grow, brew, manufacture, market, and deliver some of the world’s favourite drinks.
