Learn more about CCC at www.cccis.com.\nThe Role\nCCC is looking for a Senior Manager that will lead a team of diversely skilled database engineers who architect, build, and maintain various data technologies for the company. This position is based in Chicago on a hybrid model.This role is key to mission critical business applications that require 24x7 on-call team rotation, incident management, change management and identifying key process methods for efficient delivery of service.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage/lead a team of 3+ direct reports as well as a team offshore resources\nWork closely with vendors to maintain and manage solid working relationships\nAct as senior technical resource, prioritize tasks, resolve complex problems, and participate in strategy discussions\nResource management and training of the team\nCreate and maintain appropriate documentation for data stores, production support and end-users.\nCollaborate with Operations and Product Development teams as well as Data Architects to assure adherence to operational objectives.\nApproximately 40% team leadership, 30% hands on, 30% operations support\nCollaborative with the SRE and DevOps teams to automate deployment and monitoring of the CCC data ecosystem\nLeverage AI and grow the data teams usage of it to automate daily tasks\nMake recommendations on how to reduce hosting complexity/improve operational agility and efficiency\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree or combination of work experience and technical certifications\n12+ years of information systems experience in a large enterprise systems environment supporting mission-critical systems and applications\n5+ years in a technical team lead role of 5 resources or more - Management skill set and long term operational experience\nExcellent problem-solving skills across multiple disciplines\nDemonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly\nExperience with complex system integration projects\nExperience in managing database upgrades and patch management\nPrevious experience with managing SOC controls\nSolid experience with system monitoring and management software\nPrevious experience with disaster recovery and recovering complex environments\nExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nRequired Technical Qualifications\n8 + years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL server\n5+ years’ experience using cloud-based database technologies such as AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, Azure PaaS and Hyperscale,\n5+ years' experience in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud\nExperience managing large OLTP databases at scale\nHas maintained and monitored hundreds of SQL Server installations\nInterview Policy & Privacy Notice:\nA video interview is required for this position.
