is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team for a one-year, project-based contract in Sohar, Oman.\nEmployment Details:\nLocation: Sohar, Oman\nContract Type: One-year project-based contract\nWork Arrangement: Full-time, on-site\nKey Responsibilities:\nConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions.\nAdminister and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security products.\nMonitor network performance, security events, and potential threats.\nImplement firewall policies, VPNs, routing, switching, and access-control rules.\nInvestigate network and security incidents and provide timely resolutions.\nPerform system upgrades, security hardening, and configuration reviews.\nMaintain accurate technical documentation and operational reports.\nCoordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to meet service requirements.\nRequirements\nMandatory Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.\nProven professional experience in network security engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions.\nSolid experience with Fortinet technologies.\nStrong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall management.\nExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to work full-time and on-site in Sohar, Oman.\nMandatory Certifications:\n Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)\n Fortinet NSE
