CCG Systems is an ICT sector and is well known to specialize in the implementation and support of ERP systems as well as Payroll & HR Systems to which our clients are made of mostly Municipalities throughout South Africa. Our company is looking for a potential candidate to join our Business Development Team in the capacity of a Business Development Coordinator, to be based at our Head Office.
The role of the Business Development Coordinator is to assist the Department in the development of
a strong pipeline of new customers and projects through direct or indirect customer contact and
prospecting. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in facilitating the proposal/tender process
for prospect clients, which includes budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract
negotiations, and client presentations.
Formal Qualification Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or
related qualifications
- Sales and Customer Relations certification would
be advantageous
- Passed credit and criminal checks
- S.A Citizen, Resident or Valid S.A Work Permit
- Valid code B driver's license and own transport
- 2-4 years related experience in similar field
Operational
- Research potential business for example looking at adverts and tenders.
- Responsible for the bidding process and preparing bid templates.
- Cold calling potential clients.
- Preparing the files and documentation for tenders.
- Draft proposals for prospect clients.
- Draft and assist with client presentation.
- Ensure that tender submissions are done on time and make required arrangements
- Arrange and conduct tender presentation dry run of the demo.
- Complete required documentation for client presentations.
- Maintain company database of projects, proposal texts, consultants and partners.
- Propose new development of internal systems for communication.
- Create and foster relationships with clients, partners and associates.
- Provide general administrative support when required.
- Draft tender and other quotations.
- Internal marketing and informing employees of all up-selling opportunities
- Maintain understanding of product knowledge.
- Develop own competencies required for daily functions.
- Complete performance ratings.
- Maintain own personal development plan.
