Become a cohesive team member with operations and all other departments.\nCandidate must have current \"B\" endorsed CDL at a minimum to be considered.\nPay Range: $26.37 - $28.64\nTYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nESSENTIAL\nDisconnects forklifts from chargers or fills propane forklifts as needed, performs safety checks on forklifts.\n\nConducts safety check of truck, and fuels truck if necessary. Checks with shipping personnel for items needing transported to Southport. Loads truck and drive to other Lewiston facilities. Off-loads truck in designated areas and loads truck for return trip.\n\nDeliver blue and black boards to Centerfire drying house, place them in the dry-ovens and complete all appropriate paperwork.\n\nPicks up supplies for Speer, Rimfire Priming or Primer Assembly as needed.\n\nTransports samples back and forth from Primer Assembly to Quality Assurance.\n\nDelivers components, supplies, and/or packaging to designated areas.\n\nPicks up chemical samples from Bullet Plating and delivers to Chemistry department.\n\nEnsures that truck and trailer are properly maintained. Fills truck with fuel as needed. Records quantities of primed products onto the material transfer list.\n\nKeeps a trip log of the amount of primed products that are hauled and the names of the products. Turns reports and safety checklists into Technical Coordinator, weekly.\n\nAssists with unloading powder shipments. Delivers incoming items to departments.\n\nNON-ESSENTIAL\nCleans area by picking up debris, sweeping floors, and wiping off work surfaces as needed.\n\nPerforms any other duties as assigned.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nMust be able to understand English.\n\nMust be able to read, write, and perform basic math calculations and be able to recognize improbable results.\n\nGood interpersonal/communications skills.\n\nGood organizational skills.\n\nMust have a good safety and driving record.\n\nMust be able to learn to drive a forklift safely within 30 days.\n\nAbility to work independently without continual supervision.\n\nWork Environment:\nEmployee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives.
