As part of the company’s Project Management team, you will work closely with field partners and local communities and report to the Project Management Director in France.\nYour main mission is to:\nCoordinate project operations and track progress against milestones and KPIs\nOversee local implementing partners and validate their deliverables\nCoordinate and monitor carbon certification (VCS and CCB) and external verification audits\nEnsure timely delivery and manage risks such as delays and carbon volume shortfalls\nRoles & Responsibilities -\n\nProject Monitoring & Oversight\nCoordinate project operations, track progress against key milestones and KPIs, and validate partner deliverables\nImplement internal control procedures (operational and financial audits)\nConduct regular site visits and operational reviews on behalf of the company\nMonitor project budgets and associated reporting\nManage administrative and contractual follow-up with local implementing partners\nPrepare and lead monthly and quarterly project review meetings\nPartner Relations & Coordination\nServe as the primary point of contact for project partners, managing and strengthening relationships\nSupport partners in operational implementation and problem-solving\nCoordinate and monitor carbon certification processes and review key deliverables (PDDs, monitoring reports, etc.)\nEnsure timely delivery of milestones and manage risks related to underperformance (e.g. delays, carbon volume shortfalls)\nCoordinate external verification audits with the VVB and assist local partners during field audits\nMaintain and update project documentation, including factsheets, impact reports and visual materials (photo and video libraries)\nRequired Knowledge & Skills -\n\nEducation\nMaster's degree, preferably in agronomy, environmental engineering or a related field; other master's degrees (development, environmental policy, project management, etc.) will also be considered\nExperience\nAt least 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience\nProven experience in international project management, ideally in the environmental or development sectors (NGO, international cooperation, consulting, etc.)\nPrior field experience in a rural India context (essential)\nKnowledge of voluntary carbon standards (VCS, Gold Standard) is a strong asset\nSkills\nExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills\nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to adapt priorities as needed\nLeadership and facilitation skills: able to motivate teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders\nEmpathy and cross-cultural understanding: able to engage effectively with local partners and communities\nResults-driven and solution-oriented mindset\nAble to work independently and collaboratively\nAttitude\nMotivated by tangible climate action and eager to make a difference through hands-on field work\nThrives in multicultural and remote settings;
