The resource will be responsible for overseeing the collection process on the Italian customer portfolio, reducing the overdue and average collection times (DSO) through a structured reminder activity and constant coordination between customers, commercial function and customer service.\nRole Mission\nManage the collections process for the Italian customer portfolio, reducing overdue receivables and average collection times through a structured and documented follow-up process. The role serves as the main point of contact between customers, the Sales function, and Customer Service to resolve disputes that may delay payments. In addition, the position provides operational support in basic controlling activities, credit management reporting, and month-end closing processes.\nResponsibilities\nMain responsibilities\nCollaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes and customer claims.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the standardization of back-office procedures.Manage administrative tasks related to electronic invoicing and the handling of related error notifications.\nSystematically track collection actions and payment commitments, ensuring full traceability for each customer account.\nPrepare credit management reports, including aging reports, DSO, overdue balances, and commentary on key outstanding positions.\nPerform basic controlling tasks, including cash flow monitoring and weekly cash collection forecasting.\nPrepare data for output VAT reporting and reconcile VAT registers with accounting records.\nSupport the RTR team during the monthly accounts receivable closing process, including open items, bad debt provisions, and cash receipt cut-off activities.\nManage collection activities for Italian customers exclusively, including payment reminders, overdue monitoring, and customer contact via phone and email.\nQualifications\nRequirements\nHigh level of accuracy, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities within a large customer portfolio.Availability to work part-time (20 hours per week).High level of English (written and spoken) is required.\nMinimum of 2 years of previous experience in collections and/or credit management.\nAdvanced Excel skills.\nStrong teamwork orientation, with daily interaction and coordination with Sales and Customer Service teams.\nGood communication and negotiation skills in customer-facing interactions.\nNative-level Italian language skills.\nIt will be a welcome plus:\nExperience working in shared service centers or centralized back-office organizations.\nKnowledge of SAP, particularly the FI module and Order-to-Cash processes (strong advantage).\nExperience in industrial/manufacturing environments.\nKnowledge of Italian regulations related to electronic invoicing and VAT compliance.\nSalary Transparency and Economic Package\nIn accordance with the regulations on pay transparency (Legislative Decree 96/2026), the salary range provided for the position is indicated below:\n Effective Part-Time Salary Range (20 hours per week):\n€ 14,000 - € 16,000 gross per year (RAL)\n(Corresponding to a reproportioned Full-Time RAL on a 40-hour basis between € 28,000 and € 32,000, commensurate with the actual experience and mastery of management tools such as SAP).\nBenefit & Welfare:\nCorporate Welfare and supplementary health plan provided for by the CCNL.\nFlexible working hours and the possibility of Smart Working.\nInformation on the selection process\nThe selection criteria and compensation structure are defined in an objective, transparent and gender-neutral manner.
