Technical Consultants are the people who make that work inside each client's environment. You will handle the technical side of new implementations, version upgrades, and ongoing production support: configuring the platform, building and validating integrations to slot systems and casino management platforms, writing SQL against live financial data, and running down root cause when the numbers do not line up. A Business Consultant owns the client relationship, so your job is to solve the technical problem well rather than manage the account. And as CCT moves its platform to AWS, you will work across both on-premise and cloud environments and help shape how we implement and support in the cloud. This is a starting role. Nobody arrives knowing casino finance - we will teach you that part.\nWhat You'll Do\nImplementations and upgrades. Configure CCT applications for new client environments and version upgrades. Build and validate the integrations that connect our platform to the systems a property already runs. Document configurations, data flows, and client-specific customizations well enough that the next person can pick it up cold.\nProduction support. Heavy interaction with customers to own technical tickets end to end - reproduce, isolate, resolve, document. Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and integration failures across connected casino systems.\nCode and configuration. Write performant SQL for data retrieval, reporting, and troubleshooting. Read and write XML for application configuration. Apply working knowledge of C# for integration and customization work. Check your code in and use Git properly.\nCloud migration. Support workloads across on-premise and AWS environments as clients move. Learn cloud-native patterns for deployment, data movement, and monitoring, and help build the practices the team will run on for the next decade.\nKnowledge and tooling. Contribute to the team knowledge base as you learn. Use AI deliberately - to generate code, diagnose problems, and automate the repetitive parts - and take responsibility for validating what it gives you.\nHow We Work\nYou will be taught, deliberately. A senior consultant runs a 30-60-90 day onboarding plan with you and stays your escalation point after that. Asking a question is not a mark against you here; guessing quietly is.\nYou own real work early. Not a training queue. Specific clients, specific systems, yours to learn better than anyone else - with someone experienced next to you until you do not need them there.\nThe twenty-minute rule. Spend twenty minutes on a problem before you escalate - then escalate with what you found, not with what you could not find. A small thing that says a lot about how the team operates.\nShort path to the decision. Small team, few layers. If something in the process is wrong, you raise it and it changes. Senior and Principal consultants sit next to you, not above you.\nThe work has to be right. Real money moves through what we configure. Nothing here is low-stakes, and the people who like this job are the ones who find that motivating rather than nerve-racking.\nProgression is earned, not waited out. There is a published technical track from Technical Consultant through Senior and Principal, with the skills for each level written down. You will see it in your first week. Nobody is counting your years.\nExperience Needed\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field - recent graduates and upcoming December or spring graduates are encouraged to apply.\nWorking knowledge of SQL from coursework, an internship, or personal projects. You should be able to write a join and read a query someone else wrote.\nExposure to an object-oriented language such as C#, Java, or C++, and a willingness to get comfortable in C# and XML.\nClear technical writing. A real share of this role is documentation that other engineers and clients depend on.\nAble to explain a technical finding to someone who is not technical, and patient enough to do it twice.\nCuriosity about how businesses actually run. The software is the easy half.\nNice to Have\nInternship or co-op experience in software development, IT, application support, or data.\nCoursework or hands-on exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.\nAny experience with APIs, file feeds, or moving data between two systems that were not designed to talk to each other.\nExposure to BI and analytics tooling (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).\nAccounting or finance coursework, or any prior work in a casino, hospitality, or gaming environment.\nWork Authorization\nThis position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship (including initial, transfer, or extension).
