Answers questions and coordinates services. \nOversees walk-in boutique hours.\nManages the intake and redistribution of donations to St. Gianna’s No Cost Baby Boutique.\nCoordinates, manages and supervises St. Gianna’s volunteers to carry out the essential functions of the boutique.\nMeets with clients to assess resource needs and provides referral to appropriate community resources.\nDrives to different community areas to pick up supplies for the St. Gianna’s No Cost Baby Boutique.\nMeets with community partners to establish collaborative relationships and to stay well-informed on community resources that may be utilized by clients. \nManages St. Gianna’s inventory and obtains additional inventory through purchase or donations needed. \nOversees the stocking of the boutique and assures the boutique presents clients with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.\nCoordinates and facilitates classes on pregnancy and parenting topics that benefit the local community. \nEnters client information and statistics into Virtual Case Manager. \nCreates monthly reports and statistical data for submission to the Program Manager.\nMarkets program within the community. \nAvailable for media interviews when requested.\nFormal personnel management responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Community Outreach Senior Program Manager.\nDrives for Agency business.\nPerforms other special project assignments at supervisor’s request.\nMuskegon and Big Rapids Locations Only:\nProvides overall program administration oversight for the Michigan Diaper Assistance Program grant.\nEnsures compliance with federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF) requirements.\nMaintains documentation standards for the Michigan Diaper Assistance Program grant.\nCompletes reporting requirements for the Michigan Diaper Assistance Program grant.\nOther Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nKnowledge of community resources. \nAbility to engage with clients and develop a professional relationship based on trust. \nAbility to maintain good professional boundaries with clients.\nKnowledge of the Agency’s policy regarding abortion counseling.\nAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.\nMaintains respect for confidentiality, and cultural awareness. \nWorks cooperatively with coworkers and other service providers. \nThis position requires reliable transportation. \nMust have a valid driver’s license and good driving record with zero work restrictions.\nMust have personal auto insurance as required by law with minimum bodily injury coverage limits of $250,000 per person/$500,000 per incident or $500,000 combined. \nMust be willing to work irregular hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.\nMust submit to agency approved background checks.\nPhysical demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
