Working collaboratively with HR leadership, the HRBP supports the implementation of HR initiatives and provides guidance to managers and colleagues while continuing to develop business partnership and organizational effectiveness capabilities.\nThe HRBP collaborates across the HR team and with cross-functional partners to develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support the Bank’s strategic objectives and reflect the organization’s core values of integrity, respect, collaboration, inclusivity, and care.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPrimary areas of focus include, but are not limited to:\nPartner with leadership and hiring managers to assess workforce needs and support talent acquisition and retention strategies.\nCollaborate with the Talent Management team, Marketing, and hiring managers to enhance candidate engagement and strengthen the organization’s employment brand and employee value proposition.\nManage assigned requisitions and the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding activities.\nDevelop and maintain job descriptions to ensure consistency across departments and alignment with organizational needs.\nProvide guidance and support to managers regarding performance management, employee relations, and colleague development.\nSupport leaders and colleagues across Mutual Bancorp and its family of banks while promoting consistency in HR practices and colleague experience across the organization.\nSupport the implementation of organizational and departmental change initiatives while helping leaders and colleagues navigate change effectively.\nProvide guidance to managers regarding documentation, corrective action, performance concerns, accommodation, and employment separations with guidance from HR leadership on separations and more complex employee relations matters.\nRespond to and provide guidance regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.\nSupport managers in effectively utilizing HR systems and technologies, including HRIS and applicant tracking systems, to improve operational effectiveness and workforce management.\nPartner with leadership to identify opportunities that strengthen colleague engagement, retention, and workplace culture.\nSupport enterprise-wide HR initiatives that strengthen collaboration across the family of banks and enhance the experience of colleagues, clients, and the communities we serve.\nProvide cross-functional support and backup coverage for HRBPs and HR team members as needed.\nParticipate in ongoing HR projects and strategic initiatives.\nDeliver high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nEDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree required.\nPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification required.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nExperience in talent acquisition and workforce planning.\nExperience successfully managing employee relations and conflict resolution.\nAbility to support HR initiatives that align with business objectives and workforce needs.\nAbility to support organizational change initiatives and effectively guide colleagues through change.\nAbility to analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support data-informed decision-making.\nAbility to support initiatives that improve team effectiveness, colleague engagement, and organizational performance.\nUnderstanding of federal and state employment law, including FMLA, PFML, ADA.\nCommitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing workplace culture.\nCommunication and presentation skills.\nCoaching and influencing skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.\nSelf-starter with a strong sense of urgency, professionalism, work ethic, and confidentiality.\nAdvanced technology and workflow process competencies, including HR Systems.\nUnderstanding of business operations and ability to apply HR practices to support
