This role is responsible for creating tools and automations that resolve root causes and enhance the daily work of the Systems Engineering team. The overall goal is to increase operational efficiency, enable focus on strategic projects, and introduce modern, self-service IT solutions across the organization.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, test, implement, and maintain advanced scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) and applications that automate administrative and operational tasks in the IT infrastructure.\nAnalyze high-potential automation areas and lead projects that improves team's velocity, including optimization of existing tools.\nDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) at scale using Terraform and Ansible, ensuring solutions are reusable, maintainable and reliable.\nManage virtualization platforms and hypervisor infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability and efficient resource utilization.\nPerform compute capacity planning, anticipating infrastructure needs and ensuring sufficient resources for current and future workloads.\nDevelop, integrate, and manage tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), proactive monitoring, and support CI/CD practices across systems.\nCollaborate with the Core Infrastructure team and share knowledge on automation strategies and tools.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation for implemented automation tools and processes.\nWork closely with the ITSECOPS department and other internal teams to gather requirements and successfully implement automation solutions.\nContinuously improve processes and tools by exploring new technologies and implementing innovative, industry best practices in IT automation.\n At least 3 years of experience in IT process automation, programming, or advanced systems administration.\nAdvanced knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell).\nProven experience designing, building, and deploying automation tools in production environments.\nProven hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible, including designing reusable modules, roles, and managing Infrastructure as Code in production environments.\nPractical experience administering virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere), including resource management, performance optimization and capacity planning.\nUnderstanding of high availability, fault tolerance and infrastructure resilience principles.\nGood understanding of software engineering principles, version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce), and practical experience with CI/CD tools and concepts.\nExperience in administering operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).\nKnowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Prometheus, and visualization platforms (Grafana).\nHighly developed analytical thinking and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with an openness to diverse working styles and perspectives.\nInitiative, a proactive approach, results orientation, and high standards for work quality.\nWorking proficiency in both Polish and English.\n Working mode\nIn-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland.\nRemote work from within Poland is possible for selected candidates.\nRelocation to Poland is required for those residing abroad.\nHealth & Well-Being\nPrivate medical healthcare - a selection of medical plans with dental care and unlimited rehabilitation to choose from, which are also accessible for your partner and relatives.\nLife insurance - comprehensive pension and insurance plans to protect you and your loved ones.\nAnnual screenings for cancer prevention covered by the company.\nPsychological and psychiatrist care - free mental health support and various well-being initiatives.\nSports card - gain access to a wide number of sporting and fitness facilities across the city.\nMenstrual leave - employees who menstruate can take one extra day off when experiencing period pain.\nRED Parents Network - support for working parents, including childcare benefits, and family-friendly events.\nRED Summer Camp for Kids - a fun summer program for children aged 5-12, majoritively paid by the company.\nPerks & Professional Growth\nA welcome pack filled with goodies - to help you feel right at home once you join the team.\nTrainings, lectures, and courses - workshops and trainings for each employee, knowledge-sharing initiatives, online tutorials, and e-learning classes are all available.
