We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help build and scale technical quality solutions, automation frameworks and testing infrastructure used across multiple Unreal Engine projects.\nYou will be part of the QA Engineering team within Shared Development Services (SDS) - a shared technical group focused on improving quality, testability and development workflows through automation, reusable tooling and standardized testing platforms.\nWhile the priority for this role will initially be supporting the development of Witcher 4 this is not a project-dedicated position. Your work will contribute to long-term cross-project QA Engineering solutions and shared technical capabilities used across the studio.\nThis is an opportunity to join at the early stages of a highly innovative game and play a key role in shaping scalable QA engineering practices from the ground up. You will work closely with development teams to build and maintain automated testing solutions, testing environments and shared technical tooling supporting multiple teams and gameplay systems.\nResponsibilities:\nCollaborate with Engineering, Tech Art, Art, QA, DevOps, and central development services teams to support integration and deployment of automated testing solutions, shared tooling, and testing environments across projects.\n\nDesign, develop, maintain, and extend automated test frameworks and testing infrastructure for Unreal Engine systems and reusable gameplay modules.\n\nSupport migration, integration, and validation of shared automation solutions between different projects and development environments.\n\nInvestigate, debug, and resolve technical issues related to automation, integrations, testing environments, CI/CD pipelines, and build infrastructure.\n\nParticipate in the code review process and contribute to maintaining high engineering standards across QA automation codebases.\n\nWork closely with development teams to improve testability, reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability of shared systems.\n\nProactively monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid identification and resolution of build and test failures.\n\n 4+ years of experience in QA Engineering, test automation, or software testing, preferably within the gaming industry.\n\nC++ experience, especially within Unreal Engine environments.\n\nKnowledge of working with automated testing, tooling, and testing infrastructure in Unreal Engine environments.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and testing solutions.\n\nDemonstrated ability to analyze, debug, and troubleshoot complex technical issues across systems, integrations, and development environments.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines and teams.\n\nComfortable owning tasks and asking for input when needed with a strong sense of curiosity toward solving technical challenges.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience shipping an Unreal Engine-based game for Xbox or PlayStation consoles.\n\nPrior experience with Unreal Engine, or a very strong understanding of Unreal from the development side, not limited to automated test work.\n\nExperience with containerization and cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, AWS, GCP).\n\nExperience with programming and scripting skills using languages such as Python, TypeScript or C#.\n\nExperience with performance profiling, debugging or validation tooling within Unreal Engine environments.\n\nExperience with asset processing and validation pipelines, digital content authoring tools, or other proprietary game engine tools.\n\nExperience supporting shared tooling, reusable systems, or cross-project technical initiatives.\n\nExperience working with CI/CD systems and automation pipelines.\n\n Working mode\nIn-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland.\nHealth & Well-Being\nPrivate medical healthcare - a selection of medical plans with dental care and unlimited rehabilitation to choose from, which are also accessible for your partner and relatives.\nLife insurance - comprehensive pension and insurance plans to protect you and your loved ones.\nAnnual screenings for cancer prevention covered by the company.\nPsychological and psychiatrist care - free mental health support and various well-being initiatives.\nSports card - gain access to a wide number of sporting and fitness facilities across the city.\nMenstrual leave - employees who menstruate can take one extra day off when experiencing period pain.\nRED Parents Network - support for working parents, including childcare benefits, and family-friendly events.\nRED Summer Camp for Kids - a fun summer program for children aged 5-12, majoritively paid by the company.\nPerks & Professional Growth\nA welcome pack filled with goodies - to help you feel right at home once you join the team.\nTrainings, lectures, and courses - workshops and trainings for each employee, knowledge-sharing initiatives, online tutorials, and e-learning classes are all available.
