You'll oversee project delivery and join a high performing client-side team delivering projects for Silverdale and Hobsonville Campuses. Working closely with the nominated PCBU and subcontractors, you'll ensure both internal and external teams collaborate effectively to deliver high-quality builds and infrastructure installations.\nKey responsibilities include:\nOversee the flow of technical information between engineering disciplines and stakeholders in construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards\nManage construction contracts, including due diligence and compliance for third-party agreements, on behalf of CDC\nReport to the Head of Construction on project progress, forecasting, budget control, procurement, and schedule updates\nEnsure end-to-end oversight of assigned construction projects, focusing on value management, safety, structural adequacy, and verification of contracted works\nIdentify opportunities to optimise delivery, timelines, or innovation and liaise with consultants as needed\nConduct meetings and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, including CDC Service Managers and Engineers, from design through to handover\nBuild strong partnerships with suppliers and vendors while collaborating with peers to enhance the function’s capability within CDC\nContribute to the growth of the CDC team, providing leadership, mentoring junior staff, and fostering a positive culture\nAct as an ambassador for the company, leading and participating in team and stakeholder meetings to ensure effective engagement and communication.\nAbout you:\nYou have a proven experience managing large-scale, complex building projects, ideally in critical infrastructure environments like data centres or hospitals. You bring strong leadership skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to identify risks and solve issues early. Your solid understanding of mechanical and electrical elements, building methods, and safety regulations helps you confidently manage projects from start to finish.
