Together, we configure the landscape to meet the security, reliability, connectivity and sustainability needs for today and tomorrow.\nAbout the role:\nIn this role, you will share responsibility for the effective delivery of day-to-day facilities management of CDC data centres. This includes the coordination and management of site logistics, physical security, general maintenance outside, internal and external presentation of the facilities and administration associated with assigned workflows.\nThis role is part of CDC’s Operations team which is the heart of CDC. Being on the ground, in the data centres every day to ensure CDC continue to be Australia’s best specialist data centre provider. This team is proud of their data centres and can’t wait to show them off to our customers.\nOther responsibilities include:\nEnsure all facilities maintenance activities adhere to approved workplans, maintaining building compliance.\nLiaise and coordinate with contracted staff to ensure efficient and accurate works are completed, across a range of verticals (e.g. structural, plumbing, regular facilities).\nEnsure adherence to emergency and health and safety regulations, aligned to CDC policy.\nManage logistics within the facility, collaborating with the operations team to enforce security protocols and standards.\nConduct inspections for repairs or renovations of facility structures (such as lifts, pressure vessels, fire compliance, stormwater + plumbing), coordinating access for clients, guests, contractors, and suppliers accordingly.\nPromote and enforce safe work practices, ensure strong presentation and upkeep standards, representing the company professionally.\nWhat’s in it for you:\nCDC offers excellent employment conditions and benefits such as:\nCDC Academy - Mark your mark by enhancing your professional development with the CDC Academy. CDC hosts BBQs, family picnics and community events, bringing together CDC staff in different settings.\nAbout you:\nIdeally, you'll bring experience in facilities, property, or building operations, with exposure to base building services, planned and reactive maintenance, and contractor management. Experience with DLP (Defects Liability Period) management and coordinating building compliance and safety obligations will be highly regarded.\nThis role works closely with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, so strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
