By automating and streamlining critical workflows, the integrated platform of modern solutions enables dealers to sell and service more vehicles by creating simple and convenient experiences for customers and improves their financial and operational performance.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Associate Account Sales Executive creates business relationships and increases incremental revenue to CDK clients through face-to-face sales activities. Works in conjunction with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products to grow CDK’s share of wallet in existing client base. Achieves annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Director of Sales.\nPosition Responsibilities & Essential functions \nUnder guidance provided from Director of Sales, set clear, measurable performance goals to achieve a sales quota: \nUnder the direction of Director of Sales, develop an overall sales plan and forecast short and long-term sales results. \nDevelop comprehensive understanding of specific CDK products and their functionality. Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process. \nGain an understanding of the industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments in the market and/or territory. \nFocus on consultative relationship with the client by developing an understanding of their unique business needs and working with the Director of Sales to bring forth integrated solutions. \nEscalate customer concerns/issues for a timely and appropriate resolution for the customer and company. \nQualifications & Job Requirements\nDemonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships \nExperience using consultative solution selling to align client’s business needs with a solution \nExperience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities \nAbility to manage a sales process and provide customer support based on the needs of the client \n75% travel with overnight travel expected\nPreferred Attributes & Qualifications\nKnowledge of automotive retail industry or CDK knowledge/experience - highly preferred \nInitiative and self-starter \nEducation/Experience\nBachelor’s Degree, preferred, not required\nBusiness to business sales experience, preferably 6-12 months minimum\nSalary = $65,000 + Commissio ns\nCDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
