This role has significant responsibility for the performance of the Consulting business, including revenue attainment, profitability, productivity, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, talent development, and execution of strategic growth initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced consulting leader who combines strong business and financial acumen with exceptional people leadership. This individual will be comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical levels - developing the organization and identifying growth opportunities while maintaining strong discipline around execution and results.\nPosition Responsibilities & Essential Functions:\nBusiness and Financial Leadership \nOwn and drive performance against Consulting revenue, margin, productivity, and operational targets. \nMaintain strong visibility into business performance, capacity, utilization, pipeline, and delivery forecasts. \nIdentify risks and opportunities early and develop actionable plans to address them. \nPartner with Finance, Sales, Professional Services, Product, and other CDK organizations to achieve business objectives. \nIdentify opportunities to expand Consulting revenue through new services, customer relationships, and cross-functional initiatives. \nConsulting Delivery and Customer Outcomes \nEnsure consistent, high-quality consulting delivery across customers and engagements. \nEstablish expectations and accountability for customer outcomes, delivery excellence, and measurable business impact. \nBuild trusted relationships with key customers and executive stakeholders. \nSupport leaders and consultants in navigating complex customer engagements and escalations. \nMaintain a strong customer-first culture with a focus on measurable value and long-term relationships. \nPeople Leadership \nLead, coach, and develop Consulting managers and consulting professionals. \nBuild a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance. \nEstablish clear performance expectations and ensure leaders actively manage productivity, development, and results. \nDevelop future leaders and create meaningful succession and career-development opportunities. \nAttract, retain, and develop high-performing consulting talent. \nGrowth and Strategy \nPartner with Sales and other CDK teams to identify and develop new Consulting opportunities. \nHelp evolve Consulting offerings based on customer needs, market trends, and CDK strategic priorities. \nSupport the development, launch, and scaling of new consulting services and recurring-revenue opportunities. \nEncourage consultants to identify opportunities across the broader CDK portfolio and create meaningful referrals and expansion opportunities. \nTranslate strategic priorities into clear operating plans and measurable execution. \nOperational Excellence \nDrive disciplined management of billable productivity, resource utilization, capacity, scheduling, and delivery. \nUse data and performance metrics to identify trends and improve business results. \nEstablish consistent operating rhythms across the organization. \nContinuously evaluate processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and the consultant and customer experience. \nRequired Qualifications and Attributes:\n10+ years of progressive leadership experience in consulting, professional services, automotive retail, SaaS, technology, or a related industry. \nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience. \n6+ years of people leadership experience. \nDemonstrated experience leading managers and geographically dispersed professional teams. \nStrong financial and business acumen with experience managing revenue, profitability, productivity, and operational KPIs. \nProven ability to build high-performing teams and develop leaders. \nDemonstrated success managing complex customer relationships and executive-level stakeholders. \nStrong understanding of consulting and professional-services delivery models. \nExperience partnering with Sales to develop opportunities and grow customer relationships. \nAbility to translate strategy into execution and measurable business outcomes. \nStrong communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive-presence skills. \nPreferred Qualifications and Attributes:\nAutomotive retail and/or dealership operations experience. \nAutomotive Consulting experience. \nExperience with change management or transformation. \nExperience being a leader of leaders.\n Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000\nCDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
