The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities, ensuring high-quality software delivery while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.\n\nThis role requires close collaboration with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nEngineering Leadership\n\nLead, mentor, and manage a team of 8–20 engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nDrive engineering excellence by promoting best practices in coding, design, testing, and deployment.\nProvide technical guidance and career mentorship to engineers across the team.\nConduct regular performance reviews, feedback sessions, and career development planning.\n\nTechnical Leadership\n\nProvide technical oversight for solutions built using Microsoft technology stack including .NET Core, C#, Web APIs, ReactJS, and SQL Server.\nEnsure adherence to software design patterns, architectural best practices, and clean code principles.\nGuide teams in building scalable, performant, and reliable systems.\nDrive database design, query optimization, and performance tuning initiatives.\nCollaborate with architects on system architecture and technical roadmaps.\n\nDelivery & Execution\n\nPlan and execute development initiatives in alignment with product roadmap and business priorities.\nEnsure teams consistently deliver high-quality software within defined timelines.\nManage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges effectively.\nFoster a culture of continuous integration, automated testing, and reliable releases.\n\nDevOps & Cloud\n\nEnsure engineering teams follow modern DevOps practices using AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.\nPromote automation and operational excellence in build, deployment, and monitoring processes.\nWork with teams to optimize systems for availability, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n\nWork closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to define technical solutions and deliver customer value.\nTranslate product requirements into clear technical deliverables and execution plans.\nFacilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.\n\nAgile Execution\n\nLead teams operating in Agile/Scrum environments, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.\nContinuously improve engineering processes, workflows, and delivery efficiency.\n\nQualifications\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nStrong experience with Microsoft technology stack including:\nC#, .NET Core\nWeb APIs\nReactJS\nSQL Server\nExperience with AWS cloud services.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.\nStrong understanding of:\nSoftware Design Patterns\nSystem Architecture\nDatabase Design\nPerformance Optimization\nScalability and Reliability Engineering\n\nLeadership Experience\n\n3–5+ years of experience leading engineering teams.\nExperience managing teams of 8–20 engineers.\nProven track record of delivering complex software projects.\n\nProcess & Delivery\n\nStrong experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.\nAbility to balance engineering processes with execution speed and innovation.\nExperience improving engineering productivity and quality metrics.\n\nCommunication & Collaboration\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work closely with product and architecture teams to drive technical decisions.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical mindset.\nAbility to think creatively and solve complex engineering challenges.\nStrong ownership and accountability mindset.\nPassion for building scalable products and high-performing teams.\nAbility to balance technical depth with leadership responsibilities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience in large-scale distributed systems.\nExposure to microservices architecture.\nExperience leading modernization or platform transformation initiatives.\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO)\n\nAt CDK, we believe inclusion and diversity are essential in inspiring meaningful connections among our people.
