The analyst is responsible for operating the current resilience program, identifying opportunities to enhance strategies, and implementing improvements to strengthen organizational preparedness. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and other critical functions to ensure robust continuity planning, risk management, and recovery capabilities across the enterprise.\nResponsibilities:\nPlan Development & Implementation:\nDesign and maintain comprehensive BCDR plans.\nIdentify critical business functions and establish recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs).\nCollaborate with IT, security, and business units to align recovery strategies.\nDevelop standardized templates for BCDR plans, risk assessments, and recovery procedures to ensure consistency across business units.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and tailor templates and decks to specific business needs.\nInfrastructure Management:\nAdminister backup and replication systems.\nMonitor and optimize cloud-based and on-premises recovery environments.\nConduct regular health checks and software upgrades.\nTesting & Validation:\nCoordinating with IT Infra teams & following up on performing regular failovers, failbacks, and recovery testing.\nAnalyze test results and update plans to address gaps.\nIncident Response:\nLead response efforts during disruptions.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure swift recovery.\nTraining & Awareness:\nEducate staff on BCDR protocols.\nPromote a culture of preparedness.\nCompliance & Reporting:\nEnsure alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301).\nCreate executive-level presentation decks to communicate BCDR strategies, testing outcomes, and risk mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership. \nMaintain and update documentation repositories, ensuring version control and accessibility for audits and compliance reviews\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, a related field, or an equivalent experience.\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in BCDR, infrastructure, or equivalent.\nRelevant certifications such ISO 22301CDRECBCP or similar and cloud certifications are highly desirable.\nStrong logical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nExtensive knowledge of BCDR, cloud DR, and IT infrastructure.\nEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO)\nAt CDK, we believe inclusion and diversity are essential in inspiring meaningful connections among our people.
