Identify/work with the teams to actively improve equipment and processes within the value stream.\n\n Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nProvide and demonstrate expert level maintenance support to departmental manufacturing, process and packaging equipment, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.\nDiagnose faults, ensuring minimal downtime of machinery and facilities.\nUse predictive maintenance tools and techniques to reduce equipment downtime.\nResolve advanced level equipment breakdown and feedback to production and maintenance leadership teams. \nMaintain and repair, packaging/process/manufacturing, and process service equipment to validated specification. \nDemonstrate sound fault-finding diagnostic ability, using fault finding tools.\nEnsure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations\nContributing to continuous improvement and efficiency projects\nIdentify root cause and provide solutions to issues, working with relevant resources to resolve. \nMaintaining equipment and assets in a safe, compliant, and reliable order. \nProvide technical advice and solutions for equipment issues. \n\nSkills & Experience:\nMinimum 3 years’ experience within manufacturing, with proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role.\nEducated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.\nGood fault-finding skills with a proactive approach to solutions.\nGood understanding of the pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements is an advantage.\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.\nComputer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.\n\nKey Capabilities:\nGood organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.\nEnthusiastic, flexible, conscientious and proactive in approach.\nTake a positive approach to own training and development.\nGood decision making and problem-solving skills.\nGood accuracy and attention to detail.\nStrong verbal and numerical aptitude skills.\nGood communication skills.\nStrong team player with the ability to work independently.\n\nWhat we Offer:\nAttractive compensation package including a 27% shift premium + bonus.\nCompany pension scheme (up to 10% employer contribution).\n17 shifts holiday per year (plus bank holidays) plus service days after 5 years.
