Work schedule must be flexible to provide shift coverage as the needs arises\nPosition Overview: Responsible for the safe, economic operation of company vehicles, and the safe and timely transportation of passengers. Responsible for assuring all passengers and cargo meet NYS and agency mandated safety regulations - and for reporting to supervision any actual or potential violations. Assists agency staff and others with the safe loading and unloading of passengers as required.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide on-going and continuous supervision of participants.\nDirect and physically assist participants as necessary as prescribed in the program plan.\nPhysically participate in all aspects of daily and routine housekeeping tasks, property and van maintenance in an acceptable fashion.\nComplete paperwork as assigned.\nMaintain familiarity and adherence to participants’ program plans.\nQualifications:\nMust be 21 years of age.\nValid NYS Driver’s License with one year of driving experience with an acceptable driving record.\nMust possess a CDL with P endorsement.\nAbility to lift 50 lbs dead weight above shoulder level.\nMust meet all NYS 19-A requirements.\nThe listed salary range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
