This role works closely with the Senior Coordinator of Student Affairs and the PASS Director to ensure the well-being, safety, and cultural engagement of our students abroad. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young adults, proactive in handling student concerns, and enthusiastic about connecting students to Italian and Florentine culture.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nSupport student well-being through health, safety, and wellness resources.\nAssist students experiencing challenges related to health, mental health, housing, or other personal concerns.\nAccompany students to appointments when necessary and follow up on care or support.\nContribute to orientation sessions and wellness programming.\nHelp organize student arrivals, excursions, and events.\nCollaborate with colleagues across Student Services, Housing, and Academic Affairs to provide holistic student support.\nFoster inclusivity and community integration.\nParticipate in the emergency phone rotation.\nQualifications \nFluency in English and Italian (spoken and written).\nAuthorization to work in Italy.\nWhat Makes a Great Candidate:\nExperience working with young adults; background in study abroad or higher education preferred.\nSensitivity and awareness regarding student mental health issues; prior training or experience in mental health support is strongly valued.\nKnowledge of Florence and local cultural resources.\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.\nFlexibility to occasionally work evenings or (rarely) on weekends.\nHow to Apply \nInterested candidates should submit a CV and cover letter, in English, to  .
