Candidates must live local to the Bonnyville area. The majority of this scope will be supporting rig moves.\nWhat We Offer:\nHours will vary based on location and scope of job, Lots of opportunity for over time\nLocal work in Bonnyville region with camp deployment as required\nVariety: changing work scopes from one day to the next - there is always a new challenge\nBe a part of a true team. Our work is difficult but we get it done safely and with great people\nKey Duties & Responsibilities:\nOperate and maintain picker trucks and/or boom trucks\nHaul, load, and off-load equipment\nUnderstand and obey all provincial and federal highway rules and regulations\nEnsure equipment meets operation and safety requirements\nPractice proper legal load securement\nTake part in all safety meetings\nOperate company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and courteous manner\nComplete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, log book and safety documents\nStrictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements\nWork as part of a team and follow direction from supervision\nQualifications:\nValid class 1 licence - (with clean 5 year driver's abstract)\nPicker Truck / Journeyman Boom operator Certification required\nDriving is in your nature, you will pass CEDA’s driver assessment with flying colours\n Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 45 ton picker truck\nMust have a valid H2S Alive certificate and CSO\nAble to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, at a CEDA booked appointment\nAble to travel throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan (flexibility in schedule is required)\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
