CEDA is currently seeking a Knuckle Picker Operator for our Bonnyville, AB location.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain trucks
  • Haul, load, and off-load equipment
  • Understand and obey all provincial and federal highway rules and regulations
  • Ensure equipment meets operation and safety requirements
  • Take part in all safety meetings
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and courteous manner
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, log book and safety documents
  • Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 with Q endorsement
  • Must have a valid H2S Alive certificate and CSO
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Able to travel throughout Alberta (flexibility in schedule is required)

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
  • Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Able to plan and organize tasks meeting deadlines with high performance
  • You have the ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely
