Our services and facilities span several specialities and include emergency / trauma centre, radiology diagnostic centre, prosthetic manufacturing plant, oxygen manufacturing plant, modular surgical operating theatres, gastrointestinal endoscopy suite and several other facilities that make for a modern multispecialty hospital.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Internal Audit Officer\n\nLocation: Abuja\n\nJob type: Full-time\n\nRole Summary\n\nThe role provides independent assurance that controls, governance, and compliance processes are effective and supports management in strengthening them.\nThe Internal Audit Officer carries out risk-based audits across clinical, financial, and operational areas of the hospital.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nReview compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards\nTrack management action plans and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations\nAudit revenue cycle and billing, procurement, inventory, pharmacy stock, payroll, and cash handling\nPrepare clear audit reports and working papers for review by the Head of Internal Audit\nUse data analytics to test full populations where possible\nExecute the approved annual audit plan, including planning, fieldwork, testing, and documentation\nMaintain confidentiality and independence at all times\nSupport special reviews and fraud investigations as assigned\nIdentify control gaps, fraud risks, and process inefficiencies, and recommend practical fixes\nAssess risks in clinical support areas such as medical records, patient billing, and medical supplies\n\nQualifications and Experience\n\nKnowledge of risk management, internal control frameworks, and IIA Standards\nProfessional qualification (ACCA, ICAN, CIA, or equivalent) completed or in progress\n2-4 years of internal or external audit experience;
